Welcome to the MoChWo 2025 Presentation Guidelines!
Thank you for participating in this conference. This guide will help you prepare your oral or poster presentation to ensure a smooth and successful experience. Please read carefully and reach out if you have any questions.

🎤 Oral Presentations

Presentation Timing

Regular Oral Presentations: 15 minutes.

Invited Presentations: 30 minutes.

Keynote Presentations: 50 minutes.

Please keep your presentation within the allocated time. Moderators will help ensure sessions remain on schedule.

Technical Setup

Each presentation room will be equipped with a projector, screen, and a laptop. Personal laptops are discouraged to avoid delays or compatibility issues.
Presentations must be submitted at least 24 hours before your session in PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx) or PDF format.
Bring a backup copy on a USB drive.
Arrive at the venue 15 minutes before your session to upload and test your presentation.

🧭 Presentation Content Suggestions

Start with a title slide including your name, institution, and presentation title.
Clearly outline your background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
Minimize use of jargon; explain technical terms for an interdisciplinary audience.
Relate your work to mountain systems or sustainable development where possible.
Use visuals (charts, graphs, images) effectively and keep text concise.
Ensure your slides are accessible and easy to read, especially for virtual participants.
Practice your talk to stay within the time limit and maintain clarity.

🧾 Poster Presentations

Poster size: A0 (841 × 1189 mm), portrait orientation.
Include: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
Use large fonts, readable from a distance (minimum 24 pt for body text).
Presenters must bring printed posters themselves.
Posters should be mounted before 9:00 AM on the day of your session.
Materials for mounting will be provided.
Presenters are expected to be available near their posters during the designated poster session times to answer questions and engage with attendees.
